Sorry I've pretty much neglected this thing...and my writing...and art...>___>
AP's aren't too hard, but they require a lot of concentration...and paper Then there's college applications and music auditions and financial aid that I all have to worry about...and then there's quintet and any hopes of a social life. Can't you just see it flying away off into the sunset?
Erm...yeah, I might be a bit loopier than usual whenever I'm on here...Money's pretty tight and the situation at both houses is not doing so well (and yes, that last sentence is gramatically accurate). So needless to say, I'm very stressed and kinda lacking in the protein department (hence why I'm basically stocking up on food at my dad's, hence why I tend to miss a lot of quintet rehearsals).
Now for something completely different (and a lot happier):
There is actually a decent chance at me getting a better flute for Christmas! I went to Sam Ash today to buy flute plugs (I am now sharing the school flute with freshman that sorta destroyed my flute....yeah...) and I showed Dad a Jean-Baptiste with gold-ish mouthpiece and open hole with B foot. I would love to have that...I mean, I did just technically waste money on YAMAHA flute plugs, but hey, that just means the next person to use that flute can use it without plugs.
Oh yeah and UCLA BAND DAY WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!! Well...not as amazing as sophomore year...BUT AMAZING! I actually knew the music and the UCLA bandoes were SUPER nice! And Kollias randomly put me in the back row with the brass...but it was so that I could be in a good position for pictures. It was HORRIBLY hot...and UCLA LOST (which was a pretty stupid thing to tell Kevin Krause, as he goes to USC...^^U) but that's okay. It was still fun standing under the misters. XD
Well, I just ate dinner...and I do believe that it just flushed all of the meat I ate (yes I'm vegetarian...but in extreme cases I will eat meat...like if I feel really faint at a band event) out of my digestive system...so I will be running around for a while...yeah!
